Approaching the 10th Anniversary European Minerals Days!
On 22-24 September 2017, European citizens will again have the unique opportunity to experience the world of minerals from close by at the occasion of the European Minerals Day! Mineral producers and related organisations all over Europe are getting ready to welcoming children and adults to quarry and plant open days, school visits, guided tours, exhibitions, workshops and many more educational and fun activities, in view of enthusing notably young people for the world of minerals and enhancing understanding of what goes on behind the gates of the quarry, mine or plant. So far more than 118 events have been registered in 27 countries, both in Europe and abroad. See events map on www.mineralsday.eu.
